FOM Vellies Standard - Whiskey

I do really LOVE my vellies, came all the way from Australia just to get them.
But what I really dont like, whenever only the grass is moist, my socks gets wet. And its from the bottom up. Not sure if the soles has got holes or absorbing the water, but I would assume that its not normal. So I can not wear it when I actually need them in the winter cause my feet get wet. Wish I can wear them every day, as I want to, hence the reason buying them

Lariska has arranged collection as the shoes have issues already shared with her. I'm not sure if you will refund, but I will prefer credit on my account until I can visit FOM Nelspruit shop to replace it with a suitable pair. Unfortunately I am 110km from FOM but may travel there in a month or two.

First off I love the shoes I ordered and have no issues with the product itself. The shoes fit and look wonderfull thankyou.

However, the customer service I recieved from your Castlegate branch was some of the worst I have seen to date. I placed an order for collection on Thu 23 Jan. I recieved confirmation via email that my order is ready for collection on Fri 24 Jan. The branch tried phoning me 3 times from 17:30, but I was unable to answer as I was on a flight to Cape Town.
The following day I recieved another stream of calls and answered as I suspected something was wrong with my order. The gentleman informed me that I have 24h to come and collect my order else it would be cancled and the money repaid to my account. I told them that I was unable to as I was out of town and would be there to collect on Mon 26 Jan. They reluctantly agreed to keep the package for me till then. Your employee rudely sudjested that go to your website and read your terms of service regarding collections and please collect my order withing 24h if I ordered again.

I attached a screenshot of your frequently asked questions where it states customers have 10 days to collect their orders after confirmation was given. NOT 24 HOURS!

Upon collection of my order the two gentleman at the front desk again informed me that customers have 24h to collect their orders. I showed them your website as in the attached screenshot that I have 10 days and was lighthartedly laughed off by both as being unreasonable. They informed me that they do not have enough storage space for all the collection orders and thus customers have only 24h after confirmation to collect oreder. I refused to argue with them and left.

How can you as a business make your shortcomings (not enough storage space) the problem of your customers? I specifically selected the click and collect option as I would not have been here to recieve a delivery that weekend.
How can your staff rudely suggest that I must inform myself about your terms of service when they themselves are not informed?

I have supported FOM products since 2019 and love what you guys make, but I feel my business would be appreciated more elseware in the future.

I don't know what happened with manufacturing of this pair or if we recieved old stock, but this pair barely lasted three months. This is my husbands third pair of FOM vellies but the first to do this. Not the money's worth this time.
